Isn’t this little family just such a dream? The Taylor’s were such a delight to work with and so much fun to be around. Mom and Dad Taylor shared with me that they met at Texas A&M and have been in Houston for several years now. They just had their first baby (isn’t she so sweet?!) but they also have quite a few nieces and nephews to love on! I actually took newborn photos for one of their nephews–– which is how the Taylor’s found me! I feel so grateful to have clients that recommend me and my work. 

Mom borrowed a dress from my studio wardrobe – I brought her about 5 options and she picked the perfect one! To top off this perfect session: baby slept almost the whole time! She did so great! I really enjoyed chatting about parent life with the Taylors and I could totally tell how in love they were with their sweet little one. This Texas family was very laid-back and had an overall relaxed energy about them–– which is probably why the baby slept the whole time! 

The session was done in their home in Shady Acres – a neighborhood next door to the Heights. Their home had nice natural light and was centrally located in Houston. They only lived a few minutes from me! They had a beautiful, serene master bedroom that we took most of the photos in. Their natural colored aesthetic was great for the look of the session. In-home sessions are so fun and can really help people feel at home in front of the camera!

The Taylors were just an absolute delight to work with! They took direction very well and were naturals at the session. I always appreciate clients who trust me and my expertise because their photos always turn out so beautifully! I hope the best for this darling little family as they start this new chapter of their lives together.
