This is my second milestone photoshoot this month and I have had so much fun doing them. I think it is so important to photograph these momentous times in your little one’s life because you not only make memories while you celebrate the occasion, but you also capture those precious memories to remember forever.

This is the Campbell family, and once again, I have been lucky enough to photograph this beautiful family since they were expecting their baby, which I love doing. It’s not only so special for me to see your family grow, but to photograph that growth for you.

The star of the session was adorable Teddy, who loved playing in the curtains and playing peek-a-boo! I loved him in the little blue romper – that is definitely his color! One of my favorite props to use from my studio is the Moses basket for sitters/crawlers and early walkers and we got so many cute shots of him in it.

My studio is located in Montrose – the heart of the arts district in Houston. It is a large brick home that was converted into commercial space. It has tons of natural light and plenty of space to get comfortable! I have it stocked with beautiful clothing that clients are free to use and lots of amazing props that really elevate the photography sessions.

During the shoot, we did some family shots first, shots of little Teddy in all his glory, and then a cake smash at the end. Jamie and Chris were great to work with (as usual) and Teddy was a champ. He had fun with his cake and it was so much fun to watch him really get into it!

I really encourage families everywhere to make it a priority to capture these milestones in their little one’s lives. You will never regret having beautiful memories that will last for your and your baby’s lifetime.
