This is Leta. Isn’t she a stunning momma?! We did this session in my studio in the Montrose neighborhood in the Museum District of Houston. The studio has wonderful natural light and a bright, airy aesthetic. Leta’s clothing was provided from my clientele wardrobe which is available to all my clients. The wardrobe and studio were the perfect choices for Leta’s intimate maternity session!

Leta has been a client of mine for nearly three years and she is an extra special client because she is one of my very first clients in Texas! I had the opportunity to take her daughter’s newborn photos and after the session, we realized we lived in the same neighborhood. We have been good friends and I have been capturing her beautiful family ever since that fateful photo shoot.

This session was special as this is her last planned pregnancy and we wanted to do a very intimate photoshoot. She wanted a more intimate maternity session to really capture the beauty of pregnancy and remember how special and beautiful she felt during this incredible phase of life. I really wanted to focus on her natural beauty, which she has plenty of, so we went with a light and airy feel, with minimal makeup, hair, and outfits. I loved being able to showcase her gorgeous red hair. It photographs so beautifully and looked incredibly contrasted against her lacy white gown. I loved capturing all the little details during this shoot and focusing on her gorgeous belly.

I am so happy for Leta and can see the natural pregnancy glow radiating from her. I can’t wait for her to hold her sweet new baby. I hope when she looks back on these photos she remembers how beautiful and special pregnancy is for a woman. Leta, thank you for letting me capture these gorgeous and intimate memories!
