Meet Jamie and her sweet little guy. These two came to my studio in the Montrose neighborhood in Houston, Texas to do a “Mommy and Me” session. We did this photography session at my studio, which has the most perfect natural lighting with gorgeous neutral colors, making it an incredible space for vibrant photos for any occasion, including this session.

Last year I was able to do a newborn session of this little cutie and it was so much fun seeing how much he has grown since our last photo shoot. I can’t get enough of this little boy! Isn’t he the cutest? He was very active and loved playing with the toys, which was really fun to photograph. He was crawling around and exploring his new surroundings, I could barely keep up! He has such a happy disposition and he gave us a lot of great smiles and giggles.

Jamie’s dress was borrowed from my clientele wardrobe, which is available for all of my clients during photography sessions as an added bonus for booking with me. She picked one of my favorite looks and looked beautiful in this white lace dress!

As a photographer, there is a quote from Tara Chisholm that says, “Photography is the beauty of life captured”. I think this is so true and the beauty of this session was so apparent. I loved seeing Jamie and her little boy interact because their love for each other was truly captured. Jamie is such a wonderful mother and watching her with her sweet guy was magical. She has such an infectious smile and attitude, which you can tell she has passed on to her little boy. Babies grow too quickly, so I can’t wait to see him again and how much he has grown the next time I get to photograph him.
